Uni-Tot Update

Uni-Tots are our little 3 and 4 year olds and kindergarteners of Unity. One Sunday not long ago, I peaked in on this precious class to find the little ones in a circle on the floor meditating. Seeing their eyes tightly shut and their little squinched-up faces, was enough to send me to that blissful place myself, but I was touched as I watched them listen to their teacher as she ‘guided’ them to their special spot within. When they opened their eyes and shared I was so impressed by their expression of enthusiasm and of pure joy. One child had smelled a rose and saw a ladybug fly by, another was camping or picnicking with his family, another was free to express that he had seen nothing. Each had their own unique and beautiful experience and it was clear that they had truly been there. Ahhhh … . I am so thankful to have been there that day, to experience that purity of Spirit.
