Hey everyone;
What a marvelous week - beyond limits absolutely!!!
This past week a man showed up with three computers from BP (gas stations)
as a donation for us and then a man drove in with a solar panel hot water
heater and asked if we could take it as he needed a somewhat rural setting
to advertise it and set it up for people to see. The water comes out nearly
boiling and we're going to combine it with a cold tap and run the overflow
to the garden for a gray water irrigation system.
Our electricity is finally hooked up but has
a temporary phase problem with surges but the electrician is coming this
weekend to fix it and the Dutch Government FIPAG is hooking up our water
sometime in the next two weeks.
but last and certainly not least - last night I saw a shooting star. I
made a wish (first shooting star I've seen in Moz) and I actually think
it might have been a comet as it was close and very bright.
An hour later I got a call from CNN Heroes. A woman from my church had
nominated me to be a CNN Hero. I've made it through the first few thousand
candidates and now am in the final 100 and from there they will quickly
narrow down to 18. If I make the finals they will come here to film for
three days. How exciting is that.
So, all together now - if you would make a small prayer for us and the
kids that we could have this exposure - it would be so wonderful. You
have all been the wind beneath our wings and thank you all again and again.
Many blessings from Chimoio,
Amy and the Kids
Blessings and Grace from Mozambique,
Amy
