Below please find Amy’s list of materials and support requested.
Amy will be the Guest Speaker at our services on June 11, 
so please bring in your donations by that time.
TIOS wish-list for material donations for June, 2006
       
Any items about herbals including Aveda books, etc. on how to make herbal products, etc. 
       
Embroidery floss – particularly black, brown, burgundy and white (for embroidering the faces
of African Anatomical Dolls)
       
Any kits (paint by number, cross-stitch, needlepoint, etc.)
       
Any books/videos on “how to” for carpentry or sewing, needlepoint,  
       
Any books/videos on “how to” for musical instrument making, especially bamboo flutes and
marimba’s – xylophones
       
Any books/videos on First Aid and first aid materials like ace bandages, safety pins, etc.
       
laptop, (I can carry it  through customs, whereas I’d have to box and ship a desktop)
       
Rubber gloves for first Aid
       
Cash donations to help cover the expenses of shipping and for my flight back to Mozambique
       
Any Portuguese books – especially children’s books
       
Embroidery Hoops
       
Crochet hooks & Knitting needles
       
Sewing needles for hand sewing &  Scissors – Fiscars
       
Small trimming and/or pinking shears for sewing
       
Black macramé rope & Black yarn to make doll hair
       
Children’s animated videos – non-violent please (they will not be able to understand the words
– only what they see)
       
Computer Software – adobe 
       
Ink cartridges 27 – 28 – 56 – 57 ($they are $50.00 each here in Mozambique)
       
Any pattern books from the sewing stores (they give them away for free at the end of the
season and that is how people sew here – just look at the photo and sew it)
       
Any materials for crocheting or knitting or tapestry making, etc.
       
Any books/videos on woodworking and sculpting, carving – lightweight tools (if there is such
a thing) 
       
Any how to videos of any kind – dancing, etc. 
       
Any Portuguese-English dictionaries or other Portuguese teaching materials.
