The Rev. Lawrence E. Palmer and his lovely wife, Jo, come to us from St. Louis, Missouri.  He began his ministry at Unity Church in the Rockies officially on January 13, 2002.

Rev. Lawrence is a graduate of the University of Southern Mississippi where he majored in Psychology with a minor emphasis in Sociology.  In 1985, he received his Masters Degree in Divinity at the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, receiving the Clyde T. Francisco Preaching Award during his studies there.  Until 1990, Rev. Lawrence served several Baptist churches in Mississippi and Kentucky, at which time he began his ministerial preparation at Unity School of Christianity.  He received his ordination as a Unity minister in 1992, earning the Communications Award.

During his training at Unity School of Christianity, Rev. Lawrence served as student assistant minister at Christ Church Unity in Kansas City, Missouri.  After graduation he served as associate minister at Unity of Sarasota, FL until 1994.  He then became the senior minister at Unity Christ Church in St. Louis, MO, where he served until 2001.  Among his many leadership positions in Unity he has  served on the Standards Ministry Team, the Minister Employment Committee, the Board of Trustees of the Association of Unity Churches, and for three years was the Great Lakes Unity Regional Representative. He currently serves on the Board of Trustees for the South Central Unity Region.
