in either event, please call the church office by Wednesday prior
to that Sunday. If you are interested in becoming a member of Unity Church in the Rockies, or if you simply have questions about our church that you would like to have answered, join Rev. Lawrence from 1:30 - 5:30 PM for a new member orientation. If you have already attended an Orientation and have read Lessons in Truth and wish to join the church, you will be recognized at one of the morning services. Please call the office by

Have you ever tried
to meditate? Most of us are familiar with the benefits of meditation.
(Daily meditation leads to successes such as better health, better
concentration, and improved direction.) But many of us have difficulty
or lack the required discipline. Every Wednesday at noon in the
Sanctuary, William Ayers leads us in meditation. This is a great
opportunity to become familiar with the basics of meditation and to
improve your own practice. Come join us for a life-enhancing experience. |

A Course in Miracles is a complete self-study spiritual thought system. As a three-volume curriculum consisting of a Text, Workbook for Students, and Manual for Teachers, it teaches that the way to universal love and peace—or remembering God—is by undoing guilt through forgiving others. The Course thus focuses on the healing of relationships and making them holy. A Course in Miracles also emphasizes that it is but one version of the universal curriculum, of which there are "many thousands." Consequently, even though the language of the Course is that of traditional Christianity, it expresses a non-sectarian, non-denominational spirituality. Reiki I Intro and Training
Reiki is an ancient modality of hands-on healing energy work. Rev. Lawrence will present another opportunity for First Degree Reiki training. The free Friday night session is an introduction and information sharing time. The Friday introduction is encouraged, but not necessary for attending the Saturday training. Introduction 7-8:30 pm, Friday. First Degree Class 9 am — 5 pm, Saturday. The fee for the Saturday training is $150. Please call the office to sign up for the Training and/or the Introduction, as space is limited. |

Through Different Lenses: How do the theories of C. G. Jung and Sigmund Freud stand up against each other a hundred years after the founding of the psychoanalytic movement? Dr. Cheryl Straus-Witty, a Freudian psychoanalyst and Dr. Stephen Witty, a Jungian analyst, compare post-Freudian and Jungian theoretical approaches by examining a single case study. Through close attention to the clinical material, they explore where the two theories may at times converge, move in different directions, contradict, and complement each other--and how they highlight each other's strengths and weaknesses. Dreams, Illness, and Spontaneous Healing As Carl Jung knew and as we can discover, dreams are like letters, messages from the core of creation that seek to realign consciousness with the flow of the Tao, with the life force that heals and can rebalance us at all levels of existence. This presentation and discussion will explore how, when we open to the energy and messages from the unconscious, we help grow individual relationship with this healing guiding presence in the psyche. This can clarify the origins of illness and help shape the individual path to wellness. Drawing on work in the field of death and dying and on research done at UC San Diego Medical Center on the dreams of individual people with terminal cancer, we will consider and discuss dreams and individual experiences of people finding their way through illness as the psyche illuminates the way.We will look into Jung’s work on the religious function and the reality of the healing dimension of the subtle body. The Regeneration Project April 23rd – May 28th, Wednesdays at 6:30 pm back by popular demand.... Rev Lawrence will again present his class on regeneration. Since this presentation is evolving, those who attended the first classes are welcome to attend this second go-around. The teachings are based on Myrtle Fillmore’s experience of healing. The Regeneration Project is a systematic application of the metaphysical principles and techniques that Myrtle and Charles used. Not required, but recommended reading are Myrtle's Healing Letters and Papa Charlie's Christian Healing and Jesus Christ Heals This will be a very experiential and interactive class that will require intentional participation. The class will meet for 6 weeks on Wednesdays at 6:30 pm in the Sanctuary |
Lessons in Truth Class Beginning on January 7th, Rev Lawrence will present this class based upon the book by H. Emilie Cady, Lessons in Truth, a book which has become one the basic texts of Unity principles. The book is available in our book store. The class will meet for 10 weeks on Mondays, beginning January 7th at 6:30 pm in the Sanctuary |
Unity Community Drum Circle Come share the heart beat of Mother Earth at the Unity Community Drum and Dance Circle the second and fourth Fridays of each month from 7pm to 9pm in the Unity Fellowship Hall. Four circles are currently scheduled beginning Jan. 11th, Jan. 25th, Feb. 8th and Feb. 22nd. If attendance is good we’ll continue having them. Bring your drums, rattles and whatever else you’d like to play and join us. Move to the beat and express yourself with dance as well. Together, our hearts beat as ONE!! |

Elise Eagle will be giving a slide presentation showing her collection of light being pictures on Sunday, January 20th at 1:00 pm in the Sanctuary. Elise has hundreds of photographs she's taken containing Orbs, rainbow snowflake light beings and others that have recently shown up in her photography. She'll also be sharing "Orbs – The Veil is Lifting" which is the first full length film that brings together scientists, spiritual leaders, and experts to explore the Orb phenomenom. The film even shows pictures of Orbs underwater with dolphins! This presentation will be offered on a love offering basis. |
